Good evening. Today I chatted for quite a bit with friends. I haven't had AIM in quite some time so I had to make up for lost chats. It was nice talking to Logan from work, Jeremy in Colorado, Sarah back home, Valerie in NYC and Mikey in Nashville. Not so incredible but incredibly pleasing to be able to stay abreast with the goings-on of your close (but far away) friends.

Today I spent some time making a portfolio site for some of my design work in order to try and land a job at one of the many design firms here in the Rose City. Found out from Michael that photoshop has a little function that creates everything for you, including the editable HTML. I am fairly pleased with what I have. Check it out here. While you're at it check out some of my work at my personal site though I'm sure most of you all have seen it all.

I also today went downtown to meet Lyndsey for lunch at Veganopolis. I don't claim myself to be vegan at all but some of the food that they have there was delectable. Anyways, to the point of this paragraph, I rode the bus there and it was nice. I maybe rode the bus in Charlotte twice in the 27 years I resided there. I've already rode the bus here 8 times and driven my car 5. It's pretty great but I assume it's more due to the convenience of our residence here. I've, since my first trip to NYC, enjoyed the forced quaintness of public transportation. There were three people in front of me having a conversation that probably didn't know each other from jack having a conversation that was as engaging as best friends would have. It was nice being a fly on the wall.
