I'm currently watching a documentary on Alice Neel. It's pretty great. Not only was she a great artist that encapsulated emotion and feeling in her portraits but her life was wholly interested. Numerous suitors, depression, children and cancer. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in not only art but dreams of notoriety and the human condition.
