The Brothers Avett

So The Avett Brothers came through Portland like a whirlwind in the form of broken strings, toe tapping, foot stomping, high hat clashing and bass spinning all wrapped up in 4 free shows and one in-store. I didn't miss a show, albeit came late to a couple. They completely blindsided so many of the spectators at these shows. I could look at the shift in appreciation during the shows. The look of uncertainty when these boys with Bluegrass instruments get up there then the change to jubilee when they start treating those instruments like Punk Rock Toys. I'm not gonna ramble on about it. I'll show it to you in pictures. I will say that I am incredible proud of the boys. From the humble beginnings of Fat City shows to packed shows from NYC to Portland, Oregon. Keep it up guys.
