Enjoy my friends photos from Norfolk until I g et my dinosaur analog camera pictures developed. Hopefully it will be well worth the wait...

So, I felt that "Brick" was extremely overwrought, painfully overacted and too intense for its own good. I struggle to find something that enthralls me about it. Something that could level out the unnecessarily strained performances, the attempts at comic relief that fall flat. I understand that it is getting good reviews but it is beyond me as to why. It is not the worst movie by any means. I just didn't like the whole Highschool Gumshoe get to the bottom of things aspect. "Ya did good Brain". The female in the flick, though very attractive was not a very good actress and Megan Good was pointless. I thought Richard Roundtree in his brief cameo delivered the goods as the "VP" but thats where I will stop.

This Saturday I am doing something. Whoever is reading this is welcome to do this with me. First, I am waking up and doing some painting then I am driving to Mt. Pleasant, NC to dig through junk at Don Cline's Junk Yard, time permitting I am going to the Webb Road Flea Market and then I am going to Century Vintage to watch the Virginia Reel play for free at 4pm. BYOB. I think that is a good day...and thats not even including the nights events!!!Who's with me???

First Friday of July. I am having an art show with Jim Fales and some other people at Art House. Think about coming. There will be the portraits I had at DISH and hopefully some new ones. So yeah.
